We are a remote workplace, meaning the successful candidate will work from the comfort of their home on an ongoing basis.

We have regular virtual and in-person team events to build a strong culture of collaboration, teamwork and fun. We therefore have a preference for team members to be located in Ontario, ideally near Toronto.

About the position

We are looking for an energetic self-starter to lead our internal digital marketing efforts. The successful candidate will design, deploy and manage a cross-platform digital marketing program aimed at growing Reshift’s business in Canada and the US. The marketing specialist will receive support from our internal social media, search, design and development teams to deploy and optimize campaigns, landing pages and other elements of the marketing strategy.

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for driving new customer acquisition while establishing Reshift as a dominant player in our industry. The digital marketing specialist should be comfortable leading the development of a digital marketing media strategy from an early stage to a market leading position.

  • Conduct market research to determine customer requirements, habits and trends
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to develop and deploy a North American digital marketing strategy for Reshift Media, likely including social media, search, video and display advertising
  • Monitor campaigns, assess performance and optimize the approach
  • Develop and deploy a content marketing strategy for the company
  • Develop creative concepts and write copy for ads, landing pages, articles and other campaign elements
  • Collaborate with external PR support and other partners


Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Experience in developing, executing and optimizing digital campaigns from conception to launch across a broad range of digital media platforms
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing elements (social media, search, content marketing, display advertising, video)
  • Experience running campaigns across different platforms to optimize the media mix and maximize conversion
  • Defining, measuring, and evaluating KPIs
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • Enthusiastic team player
