Social Media Advertising Analyst

We are looking for an energetic, social-savvy individual who understands how to measure the success of digital advertising across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross-functional team that includes social media, search, design and development professionals to assist our clients with paid digital campaign setup, management and reporting.

We are a remote workplace, meaning the successful candidate will work from the comfort of their home on an ongoing basis. We have regular virtual and in-person team events and meetings, and therefore have a preference for team members to be located in Ontario, ideally near Toronto and its surrounding areas.

As a Social Media Advertising Analyst, you will conduct research, compile reporting, and make recommendations on digital advertising campaigns. Tasks include:

  • Conducting social media research and identifying key areas of opportunity for current and future clients
  • Analyzing and optimizing campaigns on an ongoing basis to continually improve results
  • Compiling recurring monthly reports that are easy to understand and highlight trends/room for improvement in paid social campaigns
  • Delivering analysis, insights, and recommendations to optimize social media advertising campaigns
  • Working closely with the other members of the social media team to ensure campaign and client success
  • Providing training and knowledge transfer for clients and internal teams
  • Time & budget management
  • Keeping up with trends, research, changes in the industry and recommend/implement strategic changes for clients


  • Min. 1-year digital marketing experience with a focus on social media advertising
  • Proficiency working with digital ad platforms, particularly Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads Manager
  • Knowledgeable in social media measurement and analytics, including pixel and tag management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with Google Data Studio an asset
